~ BROODMARES ~

*WITAURA:* Flemmingh/Laura/Wellington Witaura is a 2003 KWPN - NA mare who has joined the Violet Crown broodmare band. She is dark bay with four white socks and a thin star.
*FABELHAFT:* A 1991 Elite Hanoverian Mare by Wummestern, Fabel has competed at USDF Breed Shows and at First Level Dressage.	photo courtesy of Images by Alice
*ODESSA:* A 1996 KWPN Mare by Valblank.
*PENNLEE (Lillie):* A 1992 Thoroughbred Mare. Lillie has some previous training under saddle.
*FLAMENCA:* 1998 Westfalen mare - A new addition to the Violet Crown Broodmare Band, Flamenca brings the bloodlines of Florestan and Romadour to our breeding program. Flamenca is a lovely 16'2 bright bay with minimal white. She has been shown to First Level in Dressage and shown in schooling hunter shows.


*WANESSA* Wanessa has retired from breeding as of spring 2005. At her age, we feel that Wanessa deserves a rest from breeding. We have sincerely appreciated all the great foals she has given us since she first came to Violet Crown stables in 1998 and showed us how to do this. Thank you Wanessa!
